Perfect Pitch Challenge (“the App”) is a mobile game that helps you practice pitch recognition using sound and optional microphone features.

1) Summary (plain English)
- We do not sell your personal data.
- If you select “Ask App Not to Track” on iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT), we do not track you for advertising purposes.
- We may still collect limited, non-tracking data necessary to operate the app (e.g., purchases, basic analytics, crash reports).
- Rewarded ads are optional and only shown if you choose to watch them.
2) Data We Collect
Depending on your device settings and how you use the App, we may collect:
- Purchase data: subscription status, transaction identifiers, and receipt validation signals (handled by Apple/Google and our purchase SDK).
- App analytics (non-tracking when ATT is denied): events like level completion, button taps, session duration, country/region (coarse), device model, OS version.
- Crash & diagnostics: crash logs and performance diagnostics.
- Advertising data: ad impressions/rewards shown inside the App. If you deny ATT, ad partners should serve non-personalized ads and we do not link your data with third-party data for ad targeting.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data. We do not ask for your name, address, or phone number.
3) Microphone
The App may request microphone access to let you practice perfect pitch by sending your voice through the microphone and visualizing note accuracy.
- Microphone access is used for gameplay features only.
- We do not intentionally store raw microphone audio on our servers.
4) Tracking & Advertising (ATT / GDPR clarity)
Tracking means linking user or device data collected from the App with third-party data for targeted advertising, or sharing collected data with a data broker.
- If you allow ATT tracking, some advertising partners may use identifiers to deliver personalized ads where permitted by law.
- If you deny ATT (“Ask App Not to Track”), we do not request tracking again in the same flow and we do not track you for advertising purposes.
- Regardless of ATT choice, we may still collect data needed to provide the App and process purchases.
If you are in a region where consent is required (e.g., GDPR), you may be asked to manage ad-related preferences. Your choices will be respected.
5) How We Use Data
- To operate and improve the App (game features, balancing, bug fixing).
- To process and restore purchases and subscriptions.
- To provide optional ads and rewards.
- To prevent fraud and abuse.
6) Sharing of Data
We may share limited data with service providers that help us run the App:
- App Store / Google Play (payments & subscriptions).
- Analytics / crash providers (to measure app performance and stability).
- Ad networks (to serve ads and grant rewards).
We only share what is necessary, and we do not share data with data brokers.
7) Your Choices
- ATT (iOS): you can change tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Personalized ads / consent: where available, use the in-app “Manage options” consent screen to update choices.
- Microphone: you can disable microphone permission in device settings.
8) Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (e.g., transaction records).
9) Children
The App is not directed to children under the age required by local law for consent. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will address it.
